Easy Love (Justine Brown)

- Loantaka Records

Summer Twins was the band that first brought her out to L.A. and eventually tours across the US and as far as Japan. She played drums and sang backups in Summer Twins with her sister Chelsea as the main songwriter. Justine has opened shows for Ronnie Spector, Jenny Lewis, The Zombies, and Sharon Jones. Summer Twins recorded their first full length album with Don Bolles (of The Germs). Easy Love has gained experience over the years playing in different bands, and being inspired by and collaborating with other local musicians. It was heartbreak that led Easy Love to learn the guitar and begin writing her own songs, but her passion for music and dedication to her art is what keeps her moving forward. Easy Love (self-titled) was released on Burger Records in 2017. Easy Love arranged the music and played all of the instruments with engineering by Eric Penna. She released another single not too long afterwards that she recorded with Jason Quever (of Papercuts). Her latest album was recorded earlier this year in just one week in Boston, also with Eric Penna and is slated for release early in 2020.
